Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in all student services and academic programs, including, but not limited to, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, academic advising, athletics, counseling, grading, discipline and employment.

Gordon College prohibits sex discrimination (including sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic and dating violence, stalking and retaliation) in any education program or activity that it operates. Individuals may report concerns or questions to the . The College has designated a Title IX Coordinator to monitor institutional policies and practices that promote a non-discriminatory and harassment-free campus environment. The Title IX Coordinator is responsible to oversee Title IX compliance efforts in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policy, including the coordination of record-keeping and training for all students and employees.

The Title IX Coordinator manages a team that is well-trained and prepared to respond to reports, investigate complaints, provide information and support, and implement the College's Policy on Sexual Misconduct. 

Individuals with questions or concerns about Title IX are encouraged to contact the , a Deputy Coordinator, or any member of the Title IX Team. Each member of the team is well-trained and prepared to meet with community members who believe sexual harassment or assault has occurred and to ensure that complaints are investigated according to College policy and federal law.
