Take a step with us. Step into lakeside journaling, cucumber salad creating, and Boston road trip karaoke-ing. Step into faculty workshops and fun-filled dinner conversations. Step into a new rhythm of life.
Here at Heritage, we focus on life’s little steps: habits. We model to one another how a joyful, Jesus-rich life can be lived every day. We dig into God’s Word every morning, experience and reflect on His faithfulness in our stories every afternoon, and celebrate together in small groups every evening. We build friendships. We create beautiful things. We feast.
This summer, step out to the North Shore of Massachusetts. Step into a week of laughter-filled, Christ-seeking practices with new friends.
Renewal awaits.
Look forward to faculty workshops led by professors at Gordon College! Each workshop session explores how a particular subject is uniquely suited for cultivating the good life. Past workshops have included poetry, public story, theater, pottery, navigation and architecture.
"If there is one thing I have learned during my week at Heritage it's that once you start looking for God's beauty, you can't stop finding it. His handiwork is in every aspect of life from the smallest flower in the ground to the most beautiful flaming sunset. His love is in the littlest berry to a delicious spaghetti and meatball dinner And with that knowledge, there is nothing you can do but praise him in every aspect of your life"

Every day begins and ends in worship. Students gather for assembly every morning for a time of worship, communal prayer and biblical teaching. During the afternoon, an hour is set aside for personal reflection and devotion. Small groups, led by staff mentors, close out the evening with a time of discussion and discipleship. The spiritual heartbeat of Heritage centers on forming our identity in Christ and living together in joyful community.
Heritage is both a community and a way of life
Gather for a one-week residency with high schoolers from around the world to delight in a new set of daily habits: joyful conversations around meals, wonder-filled exploration of Boston & the North Shore of Massachusetts, and creative, hospitable expression during faculty workshops.
"I didn't know until this week how much daily worship, music, and prayer shapes my life and my relationship with God. Being given a rhythm that encompasses all of these components allowed me to experience true rest and refreshment."

"Sometimes we think that to find God we have to do something big or grand! But God appears in the meek and lowly. He appears in just the habits we do in our daily lives.”

"Heritage has opened my eyes to a new perspective of the Christian life and I don't want to lose sight of that. I have learned about the importance of inviting God into every part of my life, even the seemingly insignificant aspects. Also, I have been reminded of the incredible plan that He has for me even when I cannot see it. I have been planted where I am for a reason and the Lord is going to use it for something much bigger.”
