After finishing the core courses, students then select one concentration, either Health Policy & Management or the Generalist Concentration, and take the prescribed four courses in that area, as shown below:

Health Policy & Management Concentration

• Global Healthcare Delivery (3 credits)
• Organizational Management (3 credits)
• Health Policy & Politics (3 credits)
• Healthcare Finance (3 credits)

Generalist Concentration

• Community Health Theory & Methods OR Organizing & Transforming Communities (3 credits)
• Measurement for Public Health OR Advanced Epidemiology (3 credits)
• Statistics for Healthcare Professionals OR Biostatistics for Public Health (3 credits)
• One Health Policy & Management course (see above; 3 credits)

Students are required to take two electives (6 credits) and complete a practicum (0 credits) and an integrative learning experience (ILE; 3 credits). The MPH program at Gordon includes a complimentary registration to the annual Hope & Health Conference held on campus each spring.
