Sustainable Gordon

Gordon College has a long-standing commitment to reducing human impact on the environment and climate environmentally, economically and socially.

Gordon staff, students, and faculty are tackling issues of sustainability and resource efficiency and working toward solving large-scale ecological challenges. With support and guidance from the Gordon College Sustainability Committee, Gordon has been featured on the Princeton Review's "Green" College list every year since 2013.

The campus's rich natural environment, with its many acres of protected wetlands, is an excellent training ground for students interested in sustainability and environmental protection. Gordon College’s commitment to sustainability is led by Restore Creation—an initiative led by the Physical Plant staff that also includes faculty, staff and students. Restore Creation strives to create a culture that cares about the environment and practices sustainability.

We invite you to explore our actions, commitments, and initiatives, and to share your ideas for making Gordon College, and society, more sustainable. Please email thoughts and suggestions to .
